Angana Shroff from Snellville, GA shared with us her TTouch for You experience at a TTouch for You workshop.
"Imagine spending time in setting where you felt completely nurtured and supported by everyone around you as you explored the potential for well being through TTouch. It’s impossible to express how nurturing, mind-expanding, and, well, simply magical, this week was. The workshop gave all of us an opportunity to practice TTouch on each other, and experience the unique physical, emotional, and spiritual benefits of the work as both givers and recipients.
I was amazed to discover the profound transformations that took place in myself by simply practicing, receiving, and observing all the techniques in the course of our work sessions and Linda’s demonstrations. My aches and pains, anxieties, emotional barriers, faded away as the days went by, leaving in their place a sense of space and clarity, and a feeling of warmth, openness and fellowship towards all those in my company. I was struck by the way in which TTouch affects the emotional and spiritual aspects of well being, as well as balancing the physical body. The act of connecting to another through TTouch opens a pathway for compassion to flow. This was a most profound experience emerging from such a simple activity, one that unique to TTouch.
TTouch for You offers those who work with animals fresh insights into the guardian – animal companion relationship and the effect the work has on the animals themselves. For those who practice bodywork on people, TTouch is a powerful complement to other modalities.
